Murphy Johns is a family-owned wholesale greenhouse that serves the mid-Atlantic region with superior quality products.

Murphy John’s Inc. was established in January of 1996 with the goal of producing a
larger, stronger plant for the landscape market. We began growing bedding plants in
4 1/2″ pots for a larger root mass. Pansy production began in Fall of 1997 and MJ
quickly became the premier pansy grower in the Mid-Atlantic. Having an extensive
knowledge of plants and a combined 60 years of growing experience MJ was quickly
successful.

Over the years our flowers have been used for high profile venues such as Madison
Square Garden, US Open, Dover Downs Speedway, Blair House, Under Armour Performance
Center, DSU and many others. Municipalities such as Lewes in Bloom have won awards
using our flowers. We enjoy seeing our flowers on the Delmarva peninsula when we
journey to the beach in our old, beloved Airstream with Millie, our 100 lb. Black
Labrador Retriever.
